Deba is the knife par excellence used in Japanese tradition for cutting fish.
Designed according to an exclusive design and characterized by a wide and stable blade with a thickness of 4 mm with asymmetrical edges, making it concave on one side and straight with an obtuse angle on the other, it is used for chopping the heads off and filleting medium-sized fish. Its significant thickness and the obtuse cutting angle allow the back part to be used as a small cleaver for little bones and for cutting heads, while the rest of the knife, especially the particularly sharp tip, lends itself to filleting medium-sized fish perfectly.
Traditionally created with carbon steel to ensure compliance with food contact, our Deba knife is made with stainless steel.
